This beer celebrates sixty continuous years in charge of the same public house. Newly married couple Lou & Olive Wilson moved into the Royal Oak at Ockbrook, Derbyshire on 30th April 1953 as tenants of Offiler's Derby Brewery.

Olive held the licence whilst Lou continued to work for the railways and May 1953 was their first full month in business.

Little did Olive know that this was to be the first of 720 months to date and still counting, crowning her as the longest serving licensee in the country.

A real heart of oak.

Hops used are Cascade and Northdown.
