As a young man, Donald Mitchell Healey opened a garage and car hire business in Perranporth, Cornwall and started to take part in motorsport events. This soon became his main interest.

Probably his greatest achievement began on 19th January 1931. When, with his co-driver, Lewis Pearce, they entered into what was then the greatest motor rally in the World

Setting off from Stavanger, Norway in challenging conditions, they drove their 4.5litre Invicta car for 2260 miles to Monte Carlo and overall victory.

Latterly, Donald became equally well known for designing his famous Austin Healey cars that were produced by BMC.

Hops used are English Epic & French Aramis.
