The only reason we have picked Sir Isaac Pitman for a Gold Medal Ale is that he must have been a boring old fart.

Born in Trowbridge, he was a schoolmaster for most of his life. As well as being a devotee of Swedenborg, he was a tee-total, non-smoking vegetarian.

We are sure that this beer is more exciting than he sounds.

Hops used are Endeavour and Progress.
